This Privacy Policy explains how FlipFeeds, Inc. ("FlipFeeds", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you use the FlipFeeds platform. Please read this policy carefully. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the service.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

• Account information: name, email address, password, organization name, and profile photo when you register.
• Payment information: billing address and payment method details (processed by Stripe; we do not store card numbers).
• Content: video recordings, audio files, images, captions, and other material you upload or create using the service.
• Communications: messages you send to us (e.g., support requests) and responses.
• Sponsor & deal data: names, contact details, deal terms, and analytics shared as part of sponsorship workflows.

Information collected automatically:

• Usage data: pages visited, features used, timestamps, session duration, and clickstream data.
• Device & log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, and error logs.
• Cookies & similar technologies: session cookies for authentication and preference cookies. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Information from third parties:

• OAuth providers (Google, etc.) when you connect social accounts.
• Stripe for payment confirmations and subscription status.
• YouTube and other platforms for analytics data you explicitly authorize us to retrieve.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and improve the FlipFeeds service.
• To process transactions and send related information (receipts, invoices).
• To authenticate your identity and maintain account security.
• To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests.
• To send promotional communications — you may opt out at any time via the unsubscribe link or account settings.
• To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
• To generate aggregated, de-identified analytics about platform usage (never identifiable to you individually).

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:

• Service providers: trusted vendors who process data on our behalf (e.g., Stripe for payments, Google Cloud for hosting and AI, LiveKit for real-time video, Resend for email). Each is bound by data-processing agreements.
• Sponsors (with your consent): when you explicitly connect a sponsorship deal, we share your media kit, agreed analytics, and deal deliverables with the sponsor org you selected.
• Legal compliance: if required by law, regulation, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of FlipFeeds, our users, or the public.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. We will notify you via email and/or a prominent notice on the service.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may delete your account at any time; we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.

Video recordings and uploaded media are stored in your account until you delete them. Deleted files are permanently purged from storage within 30 days.

5. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
• Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
• Data portability — receive a copy of your data in a machine-readable format.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To exercise these rights, email legal@flipfeeds.com. We will respond within 30 days (or as required by applicable law). We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

6. Cookies

FlipFeeds uses strictly necessary cookies (session authentication) and optional preference cookies. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features (e.g., staying logged in) may not function correctly.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, AES-256-GCM encryption at rest for sensitive credentials (OAuth tokens, RTMP stream keys), and Postgres Row-Level Security to enforce tenant isolation. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; use the service at your own risk and notify us immediately of any suspected breach.

8. Children's Privacy

FlipFeeds is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

9. International Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where data-protection laws may differ. By using the service you consent to such transfers. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where feasible, by email. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
